Process
This is an overview of our audio restoration process. If you would like more information, please Contact Us.-
Obtain. The audio source is delivered to our facilities. (We can make transfers from cassette or DAT copies if the original source is not portable.)

Clean. We examine and physically clean the source materials, using archival solvents and tools.

Prepare. Next, we select, prepare, and calibrate the playback device. If necessary, we conduct preliminary services such as "baking" (to prevent oxide from flaking off old tape) and azimuth alignment (to replicate the head alignment of the original recording device).

Digitize. We transfer the audio from its original format to a computer hard drive.

Restore. We digitally correct the audio, which may include: cleaning clicks, pops, hum, hiss, speed, pitch, and equalization. We also may adjust for ambiance and fullness of the audio.

Output. We output to CD or the medium of your choice.

Test. We test the final product to make sure that you will be satisfied with the results.

Deliver. The original and restored audio are returned to you!
Pricing
We customize both our work and our pricing to fit your needs and budget. We can bill you by the hour, or quote a price for an entire job. - Basic rate - $50 per hour
- Straight transfer - $25 per 1-hour CD

Duplication: - 5 to 10 copies - $10 each
- 10 to 100 copies - $8 each
- 100 to 500 copies - $4 each
